Suspect arrested for illegal drug use.

On May 26th, the Vinh Binh Commune Police (An Giang Province) announced that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency had executed an arrest warrant and detained Vo Van Cua (born in 1996, residing in Binh Thanh Hamlet, Vinh Binh Commune, An Giang Province) for investigation into the illegal use of narcotics.

The Police Investigation Agency served an arrest warrant on Vo Van Cua for temporary detention.

On April 23, 2026, through intelligence gathering, the Vinh Binh Commune Police discovered that Vo Van Cua, a person under post-rehabilitation supervision who had returned to the area, showed suspicious signs of illegal drug use. They invited him to the commune police station for questioning. The test results showed that Vo Van Cua tested positive for methamphetamine.

The Provincial Police Investigation Agency is currently continuing the investigation and handling the case in accordance with the law.
