On May 12, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, visited Kim Lien Relic Site to respectfully offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).
Also attending were Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province Thai Thanh Quy.
In a solemn atmosphere, Minister To Lam and the delegation offered incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for his great contributions, the great leader of our Party and people.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security pledged to further promote the heroic tradition, continue to promote the study and implementation of Uncle Ho's Six Teachings in conjunction with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, contributing to building the Party and building a clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to the People's Public Security officers and soldiers, taking care to build a People's Public Security force that is absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the Party, the State and the people; serving the people, and being the core force in the cause of protecting the country's security and order.
Over the past years, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, associated with the movement of studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, has become a regular activity of great significance to the work of Party building and building the Public Security force.
Every officer and soldier of the People's Public Security, regardless of their position or working circumstances, must always keep in mind Uncle Ho's teachings, consider them as their ethical standards, motto for action and attitude; regularly self-reflect, self-correct, self-cultivate, and train, always protect and preserve the honor and prestige of the People's Public Security force...
On the same day, the delegation went to Chung Son Temple - the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh's Ancestors to offer flowers and incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh's contributions, to express gratitude to his parents, his relatives, and the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
Minister of Public Security To Lam and the delegation also attended the program of presenting gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers Ho Thi Tu and Tran Thi Em; relatives of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers: Pham Thi Tam and Ho Thi Cot; presenting gifts to 14 wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and exemplary families with meritorious services; and examining, treating, and distributing medicine to policy families and poor households in Nam Dan district.
The delegation also presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Commune Police with difficult circumstances under Nghe An Provincial Police./.
