Swimmer Le Tien Dat brings home the first gold medal for the Vietnam Sports Delegation for the Disabled
Dear Head of Delegation and all officers, experts, doctors, coaches, and athletes of the Vietnam Disabled Sports Delegation participating in the 4th Asian Para Games!
Since the biggest sports event in the continent - Asian Para Games 4 officially started in Hangzhou, China, the Vietnam Disabled Sports Delegation has shown its bravery, determination, competed with the noble sportsmanship spirit, the desire to win in each match and achieved many impressive results. Today, we are even more happy and excited when athlete Le Tien Dat excellently won the gold medal in the men's 100m breaststroke SB5 category. The achievements of the entire Delegation in the past days of competition and athlete Le Tien Dat today are the result of the efforts and dedication of each athlete, coach and the entire Vietnam Disabled Sports Delegation, for the "color of the flag and uniform" of the Fatherland.
On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and with my personal feelings, I would like to warmly commend and send my warmest congratulations to the entire Vietnam Sports Delegation for their solidarity, efforts in competing and winning 01 gold medal, 07 silver medals, 06 bronze medals, especially athlete Le Tien Dat who competed bravely, resiliently, excellently overcame strong opponents and won the prestigious 4th Asian Para Games gold medal.
I hope that the members of the Vietnam Paralympic Sports Delegation will strive to practice and compete with the highest determination to continue to achieve more excellent results in the following days of the Congress.
