Attending the conference were representatives of the Ministry's Office; representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City; officials and experts working in the field of documents and archives of agencies and units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; along with lecturers and reporters from the Department of Internal Political Security ( Ministry of Public Security ) and the Department of State Records and Archives (Ministry of Home Affairs).
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasized the particularly important role of document work, archiving and protecting State secrets in administrative management activities, especially in the context of promoting digital transformation and building e-government.
Mr. Ngoc said that disseminating and thoroughly understanding legal regulations and providing professional training will contribute to improving awareness and professional skills for cadres, civil servants and public employees in the entire industry.
At the Conference, delegates were introduced and analyzed the key contents of the 2024 Law on Archives (effective from July 1, 2025), along with current regulations on document and archive work; instructions on the process of preparing work records, submitting archival documents, as well as regulations on protecting State secrets in professional activities.
In addition, students also participated in discussing and answering questions related to problems arising during the practical implementation process at the unit.
The conference was held over two days, June 27-28. This is an important occasion to unify awareness and action, strengthen administrative discipline, and contribute to improving the quality of document work, archiving, and protecting State secrets in the entire Culture, Sports, and Tourism sector.
