Information on how to register for the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026

On October 1, 2025, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism issued Official Dispatch No. 2295/CDLQGVN-QLLT to local tourism management departments regarding the proposal of candidates for the ASEAN Award 2026.

The ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026 will be held within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum - ATF 2026 in the Philippines in January 2026. This is an important event that contributes to promoting the national tourism brand and image as well as creating opportunities to promote and enhance the international integration capacity of Vietnam's tourism service businesses.

The Ministers of ASEAN member countries have agreed to award prizes to each member country as follows:

1. ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award

2. ASEAN Green Hotel Award

3. ASEAN MICE Facility Award for Meeting Room Category

4. ASEAN MICE Facility Award in Exhibition Venue category

5. ASEAN MICE Facility Award in the Event Venue category.

6. ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Awards with the theme “Environmentally Friendly Tourism Destination”:

- Sustainable Rural Products Category: 01 candidate per country.

- Sustainable Urban Products Category: 01 candidate per country.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism requests the Departments of Tourism, Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities to guide local units in the above subjects to prepare application documents; compile the list and send it to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism before October 31, 2025.
