In the last 3 months of 2025, Secretary of the My Thuan Commune Party Committee Duong Thanh Nha requested the Commune People's Committee to focus on reviewing and striving to complete the socio -economic development targets for 2025, and urgently develop a development plan for the period 2026 - 2030.

At the same time, promote the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction; focus on implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation; mobilize resources to invest in infrastructure construction; strengthen coordination in the fight against illegal mineral exploitation; organize well the National Great Unity Day in residential areas...

Since the beginning of the year, My Thuan commune's economy has continued to develop steadily, with the output of exploitation and aquaculture reaching over 17,000 tons (reaching 71.9% of the plan); the work of preventing and combating illegal fishing (IUU) has been strengthened; the value of industrial production has reached over 351 billion VND (reaching 76.8% of the plan); national defense and security have been maintained, and social order and safety have been ensured.
