To successfully complete the tasks in 2026, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of An Giang province Nguyen Tien Hai requested each Party Committee member, agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the targets and resolutions on leadership tasks; advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee to lead, direct and strictly implement the military, national defense and border tasks in 2026.

Develop and implement projects: Building defense zones; Provincial civil defense. Organize, build forces, train, operate and ensure regimes and policies for militia and self-defense forces; ensure security and order, strengthen national defense and security in border areas; improve the quality of provincial people's air defense work in the period 2026 - 2030.

The leaders of the An Giang province armed forces strictly carried out the task of combat readiness, closely monitored the situation, reported, and advised on timely and effective handling. Participated in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, fires, forest fires, and landslides with 98 cases, with the participation of more than 3,000 officers and soldiers. Coordinated in patrolling to maintain political security, order, and social safety with more than 161,000 cases, with the participation of more than 457,000 officers and soldiers.

The training and coaching of the subjects achieved good results in general, and the training of new soldiers achieved excellent results. Regiment 893 (An Giang Provincial Military Command) performed well in its task of being a model for Military Region 9 in terms of good physical training.
