Brigade 957 started building houses for people affected by floods.

Responding to the “Quang Trung Campaign”, on the afternoon of December 3, in Tay Khanh Son commune, Brigade 957, Naval Region 4 Command held a groundbreaking ceremony to build houses for households that suffered heavy losses in the recent floods. Colonel Tien Quang Su - Political Commissar of Brigade 957 and leaders of Tay Khanh Son commune attended.

Representatives of the brigade, local authorities and Mr. Tran Van Sao's family performed the groundbreaking ceremony.

Accordingly, Brigade 957 was assigned to support the construction of two houses for the families of Mr. Tran Van Sao and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hue, both in Cam Khanh village, Tay Khanh Son commune. The houses were built according to the three-hard criteria (hard foundation, hard frame - wall, hard roof), ensuring safety and sustainability.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tien Quang Su said that during the recent flood, the brigade mobilized more than 400 officers and soldiers to promptly carry out rescue work, helping people to get to safety. Immediately after the water receded, the unit continued to support the government and people to overcome the consequences of the flood, and soon stabilize their lives. Responding to the "Quang Trung Campaign" on the rapid implementation of rebuilding houses for people affected by floods, the brigade identified this as a key political task. With the spirit of "where the people are in difficulty, there are soldiers", the unit quickly surveyed, mobilized forces and deployed work immediately after receiving instructions.
