Naval Region 4 thoroughly grasps and assigns tasks to the search and rescue fleet at sea.

On December 3, the Naval Region 4 Command held a conference to disseminate and assign tasks to the maritime search and rescue fleet (concurrently) of the Navy. Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan - Commander of Naval Region 4 chaired the meeting.

Attending the conference were representatives of the region's functional agencies; Commander of Brigade 955; representatives of the search and rescue fleet at sea and nearly 200 delegates from units throughout the region. At the conference, delegates were informed of the regulations and list of search and rescue vessels (concurrently) of the Navy; at the same time, synchronously deployed solutions to quickly perfect the organization, ensuring that the unit is ready to perform its duties properly, effectively and absolutely safely.

In his speech, Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan requested agencies, units and search and rescue fleets at sea to grasp their functions and tasks; strictly maintain combat readiness; manage and exploit technical equipment in accordance with regulations, ensuring absolute safety; regularly practice plans, improve professional qualifications, bravery and ability to handle situations. At the same time, closely coordinate with rescue forces of localities and cooperating units, be ready to mobilize to perform tasks in all weather conditions, contributing to the good performance of search and rescue missions, protecting the lives and property of people in the sea areas assigned to manage.
