Al Nassr is confident he can convince Bruno Fernandes.

According to A Bola , coach Jorge Jesus, who currently manages Al Nassr, believes that the Manchester United captain would be the perfect fit for the Saudi Pro League club. Coach Jesus himself gave Fernandes his debut at Sporting CP and has a close relationship with the player's family.

Jorge Jesus was appointed head coach of Al Nassr in June and is planning a rebuilding of the Saudi Arabian team. The Saudi Pro League giant is pursuing a thorough "Portugueseization" strategy, having previously recruited Joao Felix, a compatriot of Coach Jesus.

However, the Bruno Fernandes deal will not be easy for Al Nassr. Manchester United, under manager Ruben Amorim, want to keep Fernandes to compete in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, Al Nassr, with the backing of the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF), is prepared to spend a large sum to persuade them. In June, Fernandes surprised everyone by rejecting a £200 million deal from Al Hilal.

The Portuguese midfielder revealed he still wants to continue playing top-level football in Europe: "Al Hilal is very polite. The decision to move there would be easy. I know very well the Portuguese players who are playing in Saudi Arabia. But I want to play at the highest level and compete for major titles. I am very passionate about football."

However, with the persuasion of coach Jorge Jesus and the presence of Al Nassr players like Ronaldo and Felix, the possibility of Fernandes moving to Saudi Arabia before the 2025 summer transfer window closes still exists.
