"Union Meal" for 449 union members of SGI VINA Company

DNO - On the afternoon of August 16, the Da Nang Labor Federation coordinated with the Trade Union of SGI VINA Company (North Chu Lai Industrial Park, Da Nang) to organize a Union Meal for 449 union members who are officers and workers of the company.

Union members and workers enjoy the "Union Meal" in a friendly atmosphere with business leaders and the company's grassroots Union Executive Committee.

Also attending the “Union Meal” were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation and Mr. Tran Quoc Bao - Deputy Head of the City Industrial Parks Labor Union.

Each union member receives a special meal, worth 60,000 VND/meal (of which the Union supports 30,000 VND/meal).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh - Vice President of Da Nang City Labor Federation said that this activity is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2 and the 96th Anniversary of the Founding of Vietnam Trade Union. From there, it attracts, gathers and develops union members, closely connecting union members and workers with the trade union organization.

“This is an opportunity for workers, trade unions and business leaders to share and listen to their thoughts and aspirations, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding. Thereby, building trust and attachment between union members and workers towards trade unions and businesses,” said Ms. Anh.

On behalf of the City Labor Federation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh presented 10 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
