Nearly 2,500 workers participate in "Union Meal"

On July 29, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited to organize a "Union Meal".

Nearly 2,500 workers participate in "Union Meal"

Attending were comrade Nguyen Phu Hoang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Lam Dong province and local leaders visited workers at the meal.

“Union Meal” was organized for 2,435 workers of Nam Ha Shoe Company, creating solidarity between workers and sharing love. In a joyful atmosphere, workers and laborers enjoyed a meal with many main dishes such as: chicken thighs, chicken eggs, stuffed tofu, steamed shrimp, stir-fried dishes and bird's nest for dessert, with a value of 55,000 VND/meal. Of which, the company's share was 22,000 VND/meal, the union supported an additional 33,000 VND/meal.

Workers are excited to eat rice.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, together with local leaders and the chairman of the grassroots trade union, sat down to eat, visit, and listen to the workers' thoughts.

At the meal, many workers were moved to share that they received attention from the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, the locality and the Nam Ha Vietnam Shoes Company Limited's Trade Union, creating more motivation for workers to stay with the company for a long time...

Due to the nature of production work, workers split their lunch hours. This is not just a meal but also an opportunity for union leaders, authorities, businesses and workers to sit together, share and listen to each other.
