A "boom" in cultural and artistic events this summer.

From the end of May to the end of July, Khanh Hoa province will host a series of large-scale, high-class cultural and artistic events. This series of activities promises to bring residents and tourists explosive experiences in a vibrant and lively summer atmosphere.

This summer, Khanh Hoa will be the focal point of two major cultural events: the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 and the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival. The 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, will take place from June 26th to 28th, with the theme "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the new era." The festival will bring together approximately 700 artisans, performers, and amateur athletes of the Cham ethnic group from 7 provinces and cities: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang, Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to the opening ceremony (evening of June 26th) and closing ceremony (evening of June 28th), the festival will also feature many activities and events such as: Performances and presentations of excerpts from traditional Cham festivals and cultural rituals; exhibitions and promotions of traditional Cham culture; The event will include demonstrations and introductions of traditional Cham crafts; a folk art festival; a Cham ethnic costume show; sports competitions and folk games of the Cham ethnic group; a workshop on "Preserving and promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in Khanh Hoa associated with sustainable tourism development"; and exhibitions and introductions of tourism products, OCOP products, and unique products of Khanh Hoa province... Cultural and artistic activities and exhibitions will be held at April 16th Square (Phan Rang and Dong Hai wards). Sports and folk games will take place at the Provincial Sports Competition Service Center (Bao An ward).

The Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, organized by the Provincial People's Committee, with the theme "Colors of the Ocean - Reaching International Heights," will officially take place from July 17th to 19th at April 2nd Square (Nha Trang Ward) and several other locations throughout the province. The main events and activities include: the Opening Ceremony (evening of July 17th); the Carnival - a parade of decorated floats with the theme "Nha Trang Sea Flowers" (afternoon of July 18th); the final round of the Vietnam Supermodel and Mr. Vietnam 2026 competition, combined with a fashion and music show "Runway to the World" (evening of July 18th); and the closing ceremony and the international music festival "Connecting Five Continents - Unite the Continents" with the theme "Khanh Hoa's Embrace of Friendship Across Five Continents" (evening of July 19th).

In addition to the main activities and events, from July 10th to August 10th, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 will also feature many national-scale activities and events, with the participation of several central ministries and agencies, provinces and cities nationwide, and countries with cooperative relations with Khanh Hoa province. With nearly 30 activities and events taking place consecutively over a month, it will offer locals and tourists diverse and unique experiences of the land and people of Khanh Hoa.

Ms. THAI THI LE HANG - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism : The two major cultural events, the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026 and the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival, will contribute to strengthening exchanges with friends both domestically and internationally; spreading the cultural identity of Khanh Hoa; promoting the image of the locality; and attracting tourists. It is expected that the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival will attract between 600,000 and 800,000 local people, domestic and international tourists. To ensure the success of these two events, the Provincial People's Committee requires that cultural, sports, tourism, and artistic exchange activities be distinctive, rich, and diverse, with the participation of many famous artists and forces; creating many impressive tourism products; and contributing to the province's socio-economic growth index.

High-class music festivals

The Provincial People's Committee has also issued a document agreeing in principle to allow Sun Khanh Hoa Co., Ltd. to organize a grand music festival with the theme "Mega Booming Charmora City - Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown". The event is scheduled to take place on June 13th at April 2nd Square. With a large and spectacular stage, featuring renowned domestic and international artists and singers, the event will be an attractive entertainment highlight, drawing a large number of locals and tourists.

The highlight of the music festival is a 15-minute artistic fireworks display, featuring 500 low-altitude and 1,000 high-altitude fireworks. According to the leaders of Sun Khanh Hoa Company, the “Mega Booming Charmora City - Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown” project aims to enrich tourism products for the people and tourists during the 2026 summer tourism season; and to promote and enhance the image and brand of Khanh Hoa tourism to visitors, especially investors, in choosing a location for national and international events.

Following the event “Mega Booming Charmora City - Awakening the Heart of Nha Trang Downtown”, the joint venture between Century Investment and Advertising Joint Stock Company and Inspike Media Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City) will organize a series of two large-scale summer music festivals at April 2nd Square in June. Specifically, the “Red Bull - Confidence to the End” music night will take place on the evening of June 20th, featuring young artists such as Rhyder, Osad, My My, and Fire Band; followed by the “Play Together - Connecting Vietnamese Identity” program on the evening of June 27th with the participation of Tieu Minh Phung, Orange, Quan AP, Lamoon Diem Hang, Min... At the series of events, residents and tourists will not only be immersed in an explosive musical atmosphere but also have the opportunity to participate in exciting interactive activities and mini-games at the booths within the square.

Other notable cultural and artistic activities during the summer include:

- The social welfare reality TV show "Vietnamese Family Shelter" was filmed at April 2nd Square from July 31st to August 2nd.

- Art performances commemorating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026) will take place on August 30 at April 16 Square and September 1 at April 2 Square, respectively.

- The 2026 Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Exhibitions, and Photography (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), will take place from September 24th to October 3rd at the Tram Huong Tower area (Nha Trang ward).
