Based on this practical need, a multi-route commercial axis is gradually taking shape, connecting Hung Vuong, Doi Can, and Nguyen Du streets, creating a synchronized and modern trade network. This connecting route plays a crucial role in linking Vo Nguyen Giap Square to the provincial administrative center, opening up development opportunities associated with political , economic, cultural, and social activities.

Located at the intersection of these routes, the Central Square Thai Nguyen project, developed by Taseco Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (Taseco Land), is expected to become a vibrant destination for commerce, services, and community activities, attracting many locals, tourists, and diverse business ventures.

With the advantage of being directly adjacent to major thoroughfares, next to Vo Nguyen Giap Square and the central administrative area, the project is assessed to have the potential to attract a large, stable, and consistent flow of natural visitors. Notably, the central landscape axis running throughout the project is considered a highlight, connecting and spreading the flow of people from the square and central pedestrian street to the commercial streets on both sides.

Mr. Le Hong Ha, Director of the Thai Nguyen Pedestrian Street Project Management Board, said: "At this point, the project is basically meeting the committed schedule. The contractor is making efforts to accelerate construction, determined to complete it by the fourth quarter of 2026."

Along with development opportunities, operating a space that attracts large crowds also places high demands on management. Issues such as urban order, security, fire prevention and control, and environmental sanitation need to be comprehensively controlled from the outset.

Mr. Dang Quang Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Dinh Phung Ward, said: the local authorities will proactively coordinate with relevant forces to ensure the pedestrian street operates safely, orderly, and effectively after it comes into operation.
