New step in the journey of knowledge

The 2006 General Education Program has accompanied Vietnamese students for nearly two decades, playing an important role in providing basic knowledge and necessary skills. However, with rapid changes in society and increasing demands for education quality, the 2006 program has gradually revealed its limitations, especially its heavy emphasis on theory, lack of practical application and updating of innovations of the times.

To meet new challenges, the 2018 General Education Program was born, bringing with it important and comprehensive improvements. In the present era, when artificial intelligence (AI) is developing strongly and rapidly, accessing knowledge has become easier than ever. Thanks to technology, students can search for information with just a click of the mouse. Therefore, the focus of education is no longer on passively transmitting knowledge but on developing life skills and the ability to apply knowledge into practice. The 2018 General Education Program has deeply recognized this, thereby aiming to help students not only know but also understand and apply what they learn in their daily lives.

In this journey, teachers need to position themselves as guides, helping students practice thinking, problem-solving and creativity - skills that cannot be replaced by machines.
