On the evening of November 29th, at the closing ceremony and awards presentation of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024 at the City Theater, singer Bich Thuy - the ninth child of the late musician and Meritorious Artist Bac Son - was moved to learn that her father's musical "Bong Canh Co" (Crane Wings) had been honored.

"My family and I are deeply moved and proud that the play 'Bong Canh Co' - one of my father's masterpieces - the late musician and Meritorious Artist Bac Son - was honored at the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theatre Festival 2024. The work received the award for 'The play with the most impressive traditional form of promotion'," singer Bich Thuy expressed.

The award honors the play "The Crane's Wings".

Singer Bich Thuy emotionally shared: "This is not only a great joy for my family but also a well-deserved recognition of my father's immense contributions to the national culture and arts. His more than 500 songs and dozens of plays are a precious treasure, imbued with the spirit of Vietnamese rural life and love for the working people."
