Provincial leaders visit and present gifts on Mid-Autumn Festival

On the afternoon of September 26, Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children being cared for and raised at the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Work and students of Ninh Thang Primary School (Hoa Lu District). Accompanying him were leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Provincial Party Committee Office; Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union; leaders of Ninh Binh City, Hoa Lu District and representatives of local authorities where the Delegation visited.

At the Provincial Social Work and Protection Center, 92 subjects are currently being cared for, including 20 children in especially difficult circumstances. Here, orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances are cared for by the Center's staff, civil servants and workers on behalf of their parents, who take care of their lives and their studies with a sense of responsibility and much love.

In Ninh Thang commune, there are currently nearly 1,200 children aged 0 to under 16 years old. In recent years, children in the commune, especially children in special circumstances and those who are vulnerable, have been protected, cared for, and supported in many forms such as receiving social protection benefits, medical support,education , counseling, and access to child protection services as well as other social benefits.

Every year, the Commune People's Committee allocates tens of millions of Dong from the budget to organize Mid-Autumn Festival, Full Moon Festival, and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances.

Schools should organize well the work of protecting and caring for children, carry out good communication work, raise awareness and skills to implement children's participation rights and children's issues in schools; integrate content into subjects and extracurricular activities to educate students on life skills, self-protection skills, communication skills, and positive behavior.

Up to now, the commune has 01 entertainment spot at the Commune Cultural House and 4/4 village cultural houses. Cultural - artistic and sports activities are organized regularly, meeting the living and training needs of children in the area...

At the places he visited and presented gifts, the Provincial Party Secretary kindly asked about the health, study and training of the students, encouraged them to try to study well, cultivate and train to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.

He hoped that the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Work, Ninh Thang Commune authorities, and schools would pay more attention to health care, teaching and learning, and create all-round conditions for students to study and practice in the best environment.

On the occasion of preparing for the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Provincial Party Secretary presented gifts to children at the Provincial Center for Social Protection and Work and students of Ninh Thang Primary School. He wished the children a happy and rewarding Mid-Autumn Festival; to actively practice, be good, study well, and be worthy of being the future owners of the country.

Local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to more specific and practical work for children, implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "For the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people".
On this occasion, agencies, units and localities of Hoa Lu district and Ninh Thang commune also gave gifts to students, wishing them a happy, warm Mid-Autumn Festival with many beautiful memories.

Currently, children in Thanh Lac commune have been studying in a spacious and complete environment; they are cared for and looked after by their families. During the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2023, the commune also allocated more than 20 million VND from the budget to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival program, a Full Moon Festival at the commune Cultural House with many activities such as camping, performing arts, sports, and Team ceremonies so that the children can have a warm and meaningful Tet.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to the children of Thanh Lac commune and wished them to be good, study well, listen to their grandparents and parents, be worthy of being good children and good students, good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, and wished them a Mid-Autumn Festival full of joy and warmth.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged and commended Thanh Lac commune for its efforts in mobilizing resources and doing a good job in caring for, educating and protecting children.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that local authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the commune as well as Nho Quan district, and parents continue to pay attention and do better in caring for, educating and protecting children, especially poor children and children in difficult circumstances, helping them have better conditions to study, practice and improve in life.
