The Department of Tourism said that to ensure absolute safety for tourists and people, right before storm No. 3 made landfall, the Department had issued an urgent dispatch requesting tourist areas and spots to strengthen flood and storm prevention and control; at the same time, temporarily suspend receiving guests by inland waterway vehicles from 1:00 p.m. on July 21, 2025.
In compliance with the requirements of the Department of Tourism, tourist areas and spots in the area have strictly complied with the regulations; at the same time, well implemented the "4 on-site" motto in storm prevention and control such as pruning trees; bracing and reinforcing roofs of houses, communal houses, temples, pagodas; fully preparing materials and arranging 24/7 staff...
With a proactive and positive spirit and close direction from the Department of Tourism, no major impacts were recorded in tourist areas and spots in the province due to storm Wipha. Immediately after the storm, inspection and recovery work was actively carried out by the units. Thanks to that, the landscape and space were cleaned and tidied up, safety conditions were also ensured, leaving a good impression in the hearts of tourists.
