The temples simultaneously rang the bells and drums three times to pray for national peace and prosperity.

At 6:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025, in the thin mist of the early morning, the sound of the Prajna bells and drums resounded from thousands of pagodas across the country - a sacred ritual at the call of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, sending prayers for national peace and prosperity, in harmony with the great changes of the country.

This is the first day that the new provinces and cities put into operation the two-level local government apparatus – a historical milestone in the process of building a developed, modern and strong nation. In the spirit of innovation, hundreds of pagodas in Hung Yen province also rang their bells and drums in unison. The three bells and drums rang not only to wake up a good morning, but also to awaken mindfulness in each person.

That was the sacred moment when religion and life met on the path towards prosperity and happiness for all people.
