Major network providers in Vietnam have simultaneously increased minimum internet speeds, enabling users to experience faster internet and move closer to international standards.

Starting in May 2026, Viettel Telecom will officially increase current internet speeds by 1.3 times for customers who have received notification. At a price of 180,000 VND per month, users will receive 400Mbps bandwidth instead of the previous 300Mbps.

This move not only aims to meet the growing demand for learning and entertainment but also contributes to promoting the government 's national digital transformation goals by 2030.

All Vietnamese network providers have simultaneously increased minimum bandwidth but prices remain unchanged.

Viettel upgrades internet speed to 400Mbps at no extra cost. Viettel's system performs the upgrade completely automatically, saving users time.
