The final match was very dramatic as the two sides were not too different in skill level. The two teams played tit for tat with many beautiful shots and the pair Dinh Chuyen - Hung Thien created a turning point when they took the lead to 20-17. The pair Lee Zhi Peng - Elson Yong Chen Shin did not give up, playing explosively to equalize the score to 20-20. The high concentration after that helped the two Vietnamese players score successfully in the decisive shot to win the championship.

Hoang Thanh Trung won bronze medal in men's singles over 19 age group

In addition to the championship achievement of men's doubles for the age group 19 and over in the semi-professional category, Kingtek Pickleball Club also won a bronze medal in the men's singles for the age group over 19 in the open category by Hoang Thanh Trung.

This is a remarkable achievement for former Vietnamese tennis champion Hoang Thanh Trung in the "hot" sport of pickleball. Hoang Thanh Trung and his partner Phan Thi Thanh Truyen reached the quarterfinals of the mixed doubles category for the over 35 age group.

Businesswoman Phan Thi Thanh Truyen, also known as Madam Truyen, is the president of Kingtek Pickleball Club. She was the head of the delegation when the club under her leadership first went abroad to compete internationally and achieved success. This is the motivation for Kingtek Pickleball Club to aim to conquer the next tournaments in the near future.

"I am very happy that the team participated in the tournament with a small force, mainly aiming to compete but achieved success beyond expectations. What I am most happy about is that after the match, foreign athletes proactively interacted and learned about the Kingtek racket product that we just launched in February 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City" - businesswoman Madam Truyen shared.
