Accordingly, to avoid having your SIM locked, users need to know the following ways to check whether their mobile subscriber information is correct or not, if not, what to do to standardize the information. The following article will provide some information related to this issue.
According to representatives of the three leading network operators in Vietnam, Viettel, VNPT, and Mobifone, there are about 3.5 million mobile subscribers whose information does not match the National Population Database.
Network operators will begin one-way blocking of subscribers whose information does not match the information checked against the national population database.
After that, the two-way information will be locked with these subscribers and after 2 months, the contract will be terminated if the subscriber does not register to standardize personal information according to regulations.
Therefore, people need to standardize the information of the SIM card they are using.
Instructions to check if mobile subscriber's personal information is correct or not
Any mobile subscribers whose information does not match will receive a notification message from the network operator to update their personal information for their subscriber account. From the time of notification, the subscriber has 15 days to update the information before being blocked from one-way communication.
After the next 15 days, if the information is not updated correctly, the subscriber will be blocked from two-way communication. If the information is not updated within 60 days from the date of receiving the first notification, the mobile subscriber's contract will be terminated.
For those who have not received a notification message from the network operator, but want to check whether your mobile subscriber information is correct or not, you can do it in the following way.
Note: This method can be applied to all mobile subscribers, regardless of the network operator being used.
Text TTTB to 1414 (free text message)
Then, Call Center 1414 will respond to your message with personal information of the mobile phone number in use, including full name, date of birth, citizen identification number, place of issue, date of issue...
If the information provided by Call Center 1414 is correct with your current personal information, it means that the mobile subscriber has correct information and the user does not need to do anything more.
In case the returned information is incorrect or incorrect, you can contact the network agent directly for support, or follow the instructions below.
