Dry the device properly

However, drying with a dryer requires caution. According to experts from the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), improper drying can cause water to penetrate deeper into the components.
If using a hair dryer, use it on a low heat setting (50-60°C) and do not dry continuously. Dry for about 2-3 minutes at a time, then stop to let the device cool down before continuing. This helps to avoid damaging internal components due to excessive heat.
Check and replace damaged components
After the device has been completely dried, carefully inspect the internal components. Important parts such as wires, circuit boards, switches, fuses, and electrical boxes should be carefully inspected. If signs of damage or oxidation are detected, replace them immediately to avoid future problems.
In case of uncertainty about the condition of the device, users should take it to reputable warranty centers for inspection and repair.
Don't rush to reuse
After performing the above steps, do not turn on the device immediately. Allow a few days to ensure that the device is completely dry and free of moisture. Electronic devices, when attacked by moisture, are at risk of electrical short circuit or fire if used before they are completely dry.
