On the evening of April 30, a series of unique cultural and artistic activities with the theme of Uncle Ho's City's Colors continued to be held in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters, Nguyen Hue walking street and along the Saigon River, attracting a large number of people and tourists. This is a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
From around 6 p.m., a "sea of people" gathered at Nguyen Hue walking street (HCMC), choosing a good location to watch the art program. Along the walking street, many outdoor stages were meticulously and grandly staged to perform art performances such as folk music and dance performances, martial arts performances, traditional theater arts, amateur music performances... Every stage was packed with people watching, continuously clapping and cheering excitedly at the artists' performances.
Within the framework of the art night of Bac City Colors , many art units gathered together, creating a rich cultural space imbued with national identity. Notable among them was Homeland Melody performed by the Bong Sen Folk Music and Dance Theater, with the participation of many famous singers such as Cam Ly, Van Khanh, Mira Tran, Phuong My Chi...

Singer Cam Ly appeared in a trio of women, holding a red flag with a yellow star, performing a series of songs such as Remembering the West (musician Minh Vy), Sadness of the Starling (Dinh Tram Ca - Huynh Ngoc Dong)... to the cheers of a large audience.

Known as a simple and friendly female singer, Cam Ly is not afraid to move down the stage to interact with fans. On her personal page, the singer of Orphaned White Bird shared the moment of performing at Nguyen Hue walking street with a proud status: "Oh Vietnam!"

Participating in the program, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh evoked the image of Hue - one of the country's unique cultural heritages - in the song "Love for the Ancient Capital" (Thanh Son).

The Southern music space is vividly recreated with the sounds of the zither, the two-stringed fiddle, and the bamboo flute through the smooth melodies of the traditional and modern operas of the artists of the Bong Sen Music and Dance Theater.

At the Homeland Melody program, Phuong My Chi brought songs such as Cau ho dieu ly con day, Chiec ao ba ba. Before that, the singer born in 2003 had an emotional performance at the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.
