The church was built at a cost of over 35 billion VND, most of which was contributed by parishioners. Currently, in addition to the time for activities and holding mass, the church is still open for visitors to visit.

About 3 km from the new church, there is the old relic of Tam Toa parish church, located in Dong Hai ward, on the poetic Nhat Le river. This relic now only has the bell tower and some other items remaining, which is an attraction for tourists to visit and take photos when coming to Dong Hoi city.
