After coordinating with units to review and investigate, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works of Da Nang City said that the total land area recovered for the project through the city's territory is 843.55 hectares.
Of which, residential land is about 105.2 ha; rice land is about 225.67 ha; forest land is about 240.63 ha; other types of land such as agriculture, traffic, irrigation... are about 272.05 ha.

In addition, about 2,139 houses are affected, with a need for resettlement of about 3,148 lots. It is expected to build 35 resettlement areas to serve the project, with a total area of about 211.81 hectares and 3,316 resettlement lots.
Estimated cost of site clearance and resettlement, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic and Agricultural Works of Da Nang City said that it needs about 16,600 billion VND. Of which, the North of Thu Bon River is 7,479 billion VND, the South of Thu Bon River is 9,120 billion VND.
Specifically, the cost of compensation and support is 12,907 billion VND; the cost of building resettlement areas is 3,692 billion VND...
The Prime Minister has directed localities where the project passes through to focus on directing the rapid implementation of site clearance and relocation of technical infrastructure works to meet the schedule for starting construction of the resettlement area on August 19, 2025.
