Quang Tri Airport is an inland port with joint civil and military use, with a total area of ​​over 316 hectares, with a total estimated investment of about 8,014 billion VND.

Pursuant to the document agreeing to assign the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to organize the preparation of a pre-feasibility study report and submit it to the competent authority to decide on the investment policy of the Quang Tri airport project under the public-private partnership (PPP) method of the Prime Minister in April 2021;

T&T Group Joint Stock Company has coordinated with relevant units to organize the implementation and completion of the investment project proposal dossier to submit to the Prime Minister and relevant Central Ministries and branches for consideration and approval of the investment policy to ensure the prescribed time.

According to the decision approving the detailed planning of Quang Tri airport for the period up to 2030 in Gio Quang commune and Gio Mai commune, Gio Linh district of the Ministry of Transport; Quang Tri airport is an inland port with the nature of joint civil and military use, with a total area of ​​over 316 hectares.

Specifically, the civil aviation area is more than 87 hectares, the military land area is more than 51 hectares, the shared area is more than 177 hectares. The airport is classified as type 4C according to the standard code of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and a level II military airport, with a capacity of 1 million passengers/year and 3,100 tons of cargo/year.

The initial estimate for the total investment of the project is about 8,014 billion VND to build Quang Tri airport to meet the above planning scale.
