The Quang Ngai Provincial Social Insurance agency has issued an urgent warning about fraudulent schemes impersonating the VssID - Social Insurance application to steal assets.

According to the provincial Social Insurance agency, scammers often impersonate social insurance officials, calling or messaging people via Zalo and Facebook to request information updates, then sending strange links to trick them into downloading the "VSSID.apk" file to their phones. Once installed, this fake application will take control of the device, stealing personal information and bank account details from users.

The provincial Social Insurance agency affirms that it never sends installation links or files via social media. Citizens should only download VssID from the official app stores (CH Play and App Store); absolutely do not click on suspicious links, do not install .apk files, and do not provide OTP codes to others. If you receive a suspicious call, contact the nearest Social Insurance agency or the hotline 19009068 immediately for verification.
