Specifically: The deposit will not be refunded to the Buyer under any circumstances; or the content: The Buyer commits not to file any complaints or take any actions that affect the Seller.
Alternatively, some provisions regarding the delivery deadline are unclear, for example: the deadline will be determined by the Seller's notification. This type of stipulation can lead to indefinitely prolonged delivery times, disadvantaging consumers.
Based on the above experience, the National Competition Commission notes and recommends that consumers carefully review the entire contract and all terms related to deposits, contract cancellation, and penalties for violations before signing.
Pay particular attention to clauses regarding deposit penalties, compensation for damages, and ensuring fairness between the parties; and request that the business clearly explain any unclear points, avoiding signing agreements without fully understanding one's rights and obligations.
Consumers should also keep complete records of transactions (contracts, receipts, exchanges, etc.) as evidence in case of disputes. If they discover any signs of violation or infringement of their rights, consumers should report it to the competent authorities for assistance in resolving the issue.
