The lovely, environmentally friendly accommodation area of La Bang Farmstay attracts many visitors to experience.

We arrived at La Bang commune right in the middle of a hot summer afternoon in May. According to local people, this is also the time when La Bang attracts the most tourists of the year. Because it is located on the eastern slope of the Tam Dao mountain range, this land is favored by nature with beautiful scenery and a cool climate. Visitors can immerse themselves in the airy, cool space of the mountains and forests; camp, bathe in streams, conquer cliffs and waterfalls, climb along trails, admire the majestic nature...

Mr. Nguyen Van Toi, owner of La Bang homestay: We came up with the idea and built a tourist destination with a cool, clean green space, while preserving the maximum beauty of native nature with many types of flowers, trees, and environmentally friendly materials.

Not only do businesses have the awareness to create a green, clean, and beautiful tourist landscape, but the awareness to protect the environment also comes from the local people here. We felt that when experiencing at Kem stream and witnessing with our own eyes a middle-aged man, with a slim figure, diligently collecting plastic bottles, cake shells, food wrappers, etc. That is Mr. Tran Van Tien, in Rung Van hamlet.

Mr. Tran Van Tien: Every day, I am present at this stream. When I see a lot of litter, I conveniently pick it up, collect it and then put it in the right place. I feel happy because my work contributes to keeping the stream clean, with no more litter drifting along the banks or stuck on the rocks like before...

Talking to us, Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Dai Tu district, said: Dai Tu district has advantages in developing outstanding tourism along the eastern slope of Tam Dao range; spiritual cultural tourism and systems of communal houses, temples, pagodas... with a long-standing agricultural background, still preserving many cultural identities of ethnic groups. Therefore, in order to attract tourists, in addition to investing in facilities and improving service quality, tourist areas and spots in the district all focus on preserving natural landscapes and protecting the environment.

Every year, the locality regularly organizes tourism training courses associated with environmental protection propaganda to create changes and raise awareness and compliance with environmental protection laws among people and tourism businesses.

Keeping the landscape green, clean, beautiful, and environmentally friendly is also the goal that Nui Coc Lake National Tourist Area always aims for. Mr. Nguyen Minh Chi, General Director of Nui Coc Lake Trade Union Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company, informed: To ensure a clean and safe environment at tourist and entertainment spots, we install trash cans and have signs instructing tourists to dispose of trash in the right place. In addition, the Company's environmental sanitation team regularly collects trash, preventing pollution from waste, contributing to creating a good impression on tourists.

With 10 communes and towns along the Tam Dao mountain range, Dai Tu has many beautiful natural lakes and waterfalls, and vast tea hills, creating a majestic and poetic natural landscape. This is also a land with many historical imprints with nearly 170 relic sites. On that basis, many tourism products have been and are being gradually built and developed by Dai Tu such as: Community tourism, agriculture associated with tea culture; historical and spiritual tourism; eco-tourism, resorts. Therefore, environmental protection work in tourist areas and spots has become increasingly important.

Many opinions say that, in addition to the efforts of tourism workers and local authorities, it is necessary to have the joint efforts of both local people and tourists. In addition, it is also necessary to promote propaganda work, open training courses on environmental protection for local people and tourism businesses...
