Granting certificate of registration of rice trademark in Lak district

Accordingly, certificate number 537321 was granted to the People's Committee of Lak district, with the trademark model "LAK DISTRICT RICE", trademark identification colors: green, orange and white.

It is known that the total annual rice cultivation area in Lak district is about 15,000 hectares, mainly concentrated in 3 large rice granaries in the communes: Dak Lieng, Buon Tria and Buon Triet.

The structure of rice varieties used in production is relatively rich and suitable for soil and climate conditions, giving high productivity and yield such as: Dai Thom 8, RVT, ST24, ST25.

Buon Triet is one of the three largest rice granaries of Lak district.

To build a rice brand, on February 28, 2022, the Lak District Party Committee issued Resolution No. 09-NQ/HU on the orientation of building a Lak district rice brand. Accordingly, the Lak district rice brand is built in the form of certification trademark and trade mark protection with the aim of promoting, managing and protecting intellectual property. The general view is to build a brand associated with the product value chain, building production areas, applying science and technology in varieties, techniques, processing, preservation, packaging and distribution, and marketing.
