On iPhone experience sharing groups, many feedbacks said that iPhones became hotter and consumed more battery after updating to iOS 26. This situation was recorded on many older devices such as iPhone 12, iPhone 14 and iPhone 15.

This is a common problem that occurs every time Apple releases a completely new version of its operating system.

Overheating also affects the performance of the device. Some users said that their iPhone suddenly started to lag and freeze even when using basic operations such as browsing the web or surfing Facebook.

Meanwhile, another group of users responded that the new Liquid Glass interface on iOS 26 is relatively difficult to use.

"The interface design on iOS 26 is quite new and interesting in the first few hours of use. However, when used for a longer time, this interface is confusing and difficult to get used to when compared to iOS 18. I am looking for a way to go back to the old version," said Thanh Trung.

Alongside iOS 26, Apple also released the iOS 18.7 update. In the operating system description, the company said that this version provides important bug fixes and security updates, and is recommended for all users.
