From April 8th, the Cat Hai - Phu Long cable car line will operate every day of the week.

According to information from Sun World Cat Ba, in order to serve tourists during the peak summer travel season , from April 8th, the Cat Hai - Phu Long cable car line will officially operate every day of the week, without closing on Tuesdays as before, and will also add an extra trip at 3:30 PM.

According to the new operating schedule, the cable car has 6 trips going and 6 trips returning each day, departing at: 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM. The travel time for each trip is approximately 10-15 minutes.

Adjusting the operating schedule helps improve service capacity and meet the increasing travel demands of tourists, especially during the peak season. This is also a solution to increase flexibility in transportation connections to Cat Ba Island.

The Cat Ba cable car line is nearly 4 km long and is invested in and operated by Sun Group. Currently, the cable car fare is 70,000 VND per trip for adults and children over 1 meter tall. Children under 1 meter tall ride for free.
