(Dan Tri) - Cargill Group has just been honored at the 12th annual Vietstock exhibition in two important categories thanks to its efforts to promote sustainable growth in Vietnam's livestock and aquaculture industry.
At the 12th annual Vietstock exhibition which opened on October 9, Cargill Group was honored with two awards: "Outstanding Enterprise in Mixed Animal Feed Production" awarded to Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd., and "Outstanding Enterprise in Supplemental Animal Feed Production" awarded to Provimi One Member Co., Ltd.
Representative of Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd. received the award "Outstanding enterprise in mixed animal feed production".
Within the framework of Vietstock 2024 Exhibition, Vietstock Awards is the leading award in the livestock industry organized by Informa Markets Group, under the chairmanship of the Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development .
Vietstock Awards 2024 awarded prizes in 8 categories, including livestock waste treatment and management technology; closed value chain linkage; circular economy development; biosafety; livestock equipment production; mixed animal feed production; supplementary animal feed production and livestock breeds.
Accordingly, the award criteria for each category are based on the assessment of businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the growth of the industry as well as the welfare of farmers.
The award in the category of "Outstanding Enterprise in Mixed Animal Feed Production" recognized Cargill's efforts in investing in research, development, and application of the world 's advanced nutritional technologies into feed formulas to provide high-quality, safe animal feed suitable for local soil and breeds, while solving environmental challenges as well as difficulties in farm operations.
Currently, Cargill owns 10 animal feed factories, 1 pig breeding farm, 1 aquaculture nutrition technology application center and about 1,400 employees working nationwide, contributing to bringing positive impacts to Vietnam's agricultural sector and jobs for people.
Provimi Vietnam, a member of Cargill Group, was honored at Vietstock Awards 2024.

The award received by Provimi is a great milestone on the occasion of the 1-year anniversary of the operation of the new concentrated feed factory in Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai, with a total investment of more than 28 million USD, equipped with modern technology to help increase the production capacity of micronutrient supplements for animal feed.
