Saka scuffled with Carvajal.

The controversial moment came after the half-time whistle, with Dani Carvajal waiting on the touchline to cheer up some of his teammates.

When Bukayo Saka approached, the Real Madrid defender took the initiative to shake his hand. The two exchanged a few words, before Saka continued to walk into the tunnel. However, Carvajal suddenly grabbed Saka's hand and neck. This action made the young Arsenal star uncomfortable. He turned around, clearly showing his discomfort, and even got into a scuffle with Carvajal.

Before the collision with Carvajal, Saka missed a penalty. In the second half, the Arsenal winger made up for his mistake with a delicate finish from Mikel Merino's assist in the 65th minute.

Goals from Saka and Gabriel Martinelli helped Arsenal win 2-1 at the Bernabeu. According to Opta , Arsenal are the only club in history to win both of their first two visits to Real Madrid's home ground, in all competitions.

Coach Mikel Arteta and his team won a ticket to the Champions League semi-finals with a 5-1 aggregate score against Real. This is the second time Arsenal have eliminated a defending champion from Europe's most prestigious cup tournament, the previous time was in the 2007/08 season, when the "Gunners" defeated AC Milan in the round of 16.

Speaking after defeating Real Madrid, midfielder Declan Rice said: "We did well in this year's tournament and will do special things in the near future. My teammates and I believe in that. In addition to experienced players, Arsenal also has young, talented names that are improving every day like Ethan Nwaneri or Myles Lewis-Skelly. That is a really good combination."
