The bridge over the Vam Co Tay River is one of the key traffic projects of Long An province, period 2021-2025. This is also the last item to connect the Tan An City Ring Road - 1 of 3 key projects of the Resolution of the 11th Long An Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

The bridge over the Vam Co Tay River belongs to the Tan An City Ring Road project, connecting Binh Tam commune and Nhon Thanh Trung commune. 
The bridge over the Vam Co Tay River is preparing to close on September 1. 
The project has reached about 85% of the volume and will be fully completed on November 20, 2023.
