London Robusta Coffee Price August 3, 2025

The London Robusta coffee market saw a simultaneous price decline across all major trading periods. The September 2025 contract fell by $71 to $3,330 per ton, equivalent to a 2.09% decrease.
Subsequent contract terms also recorded declines, including: November 2025 down $72 (2.16%) to $3,259/ton, January 2026 down $77 (2.34%) to $3,216/ton, March 2026 down $78 (2.39%) to $3,180/ton, and May 2026 down $77 (2.39%) to $3,151/ton.
Inventories of arabica coffee tracked by ICE have fallen to their lowest level in 5.5 months (761,453 bags), helping to curb the decline in prices for this type of coffee.
Although gains were limited, concerns about dry weather in Vietnam also provided some support for robusta prices.
New York Arabica coffee prices on August 3, 2025

Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange recorded a uniform decline across all trading periods. The nearest contract, September 2025, fell 11.60 cents, or 3.92%, to 284.20 cents/lb.
Subsequent maturities such as December 2025 and March 2026 also fell by 11.15 cents (3.86%) and 11.00 cents (3.90%), respectively. Further maturities such as May 2026 and July 2026 also recorded declines of 10.90 cents (3.94%) and 10.80 cents (3.98%), respectively.
Coffee prices on the world market experienced a sharp decline over the weekend, with arabica coffee prices falling to their lowest level in three weeks.
Speculation that US President Donald Trump might exempt Brazilian coffee exports from tariffs has helped ease supply concerns, putting pressure on arabica coffee prices.
The prospect of increased coffee production in Brazil and Vietnam in the 2025/26 crop year is also contributing to upward pressure on prices.
Robusta coffee inventories on ICE rose to a one-year high of 7,029 lots, limiting robusta's price gains.
Domestic coffee prices today, August 3, 2025
Domestic coffee prices on August 3, 2025 saw a slight decrease, currently fluctuating around 99,200 - 99,500 VND/kg, falling below the 100,000 VND/kg mark.

Specifically:
Coffee prices today in key regions are all on a downward trend. Notably, Lam Dong witnessed the deepest decline, losing 600 VND, down to 99,200 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, Dak Lak and Dak Nong maintained the highest price position, both at 99,500 VND/kg, although also down 500 VND.
In Gia Lai, coffee prices decreased the most by 400 VND, closing at 99,400 VND/kg.
Different reciprocal tariffs from the US (Vietnam 20%) make it difficult for businesses to predict and plan their operations.
The requirement to pay 5% VAT upfront places a significant capital burden on businesses, impacting their competitiveness.
