CEO of Bach Hoa Xanh wants to sell some shares

Mr. Pham Van Trong - Member of the Board of Directors of Mobile World Investment Joint Stock Company (stock code: MWG) - registered to sell 200,000 MWG shares from May 20 to June 18. Mr. Trong is also known as the General Director of Bach Hoa Xanh Trading Joint Stock Company - the operator of the Bach Hoa Xanh retail chain, a subsidiary of Mobile World Investment.

This person registered to sell when MWG stock price reached its peak in the past half year. In the trading session on May 16, this code was around 64,000 VND/unit. Temporarily calculating at the above price, Mr. Trong can earn about 12.8 billion VND.

It is expected that after the transaction, CEO of Bach Hoa Xanh will reduce ownership to more than 3 million shares, equivalent to 0.2% of capital.

Mr. Trong was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Mobile World Investment Corporation. In addition, he is also the CEO of Bach Hoa Xanh, attracting attention when he announced that he would not receive a salary until the retail chain was profitable and promoted fresh products.

Born in 1979, he is introduced as a master of mathematics and information technology, graduated from the University of Natural Sciences , Ho Chi Minh City National University. After 21 years of joining the group, Mr. Trong has held many important positions. Since 2019, he has been the Director of Bach Hoa Xanh Operations before being appointed as General Director in 2023.

Up to now, the Bach Hoa Xanh chain has recorded profits, with the target of minimum profit this year reaching 500 billion VND. Average revenue of old stores is expected to increase by over 10%.

In the first quarter of the year, the chain opened 232 new stores, with more than 50% of them located in the Central provinces. Each new store has an average revenue of 1.2-1.5 billion VND. To date, the entire chain has more than 2,000 stores in many provinces and cities.
