On the afternoon of May 16, Nhan Dan Newspaper opened the photo exhibition "Bright Name" and launched a special issue of Nhan Dan Weekend, commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
Held in the open space of Nhan Dan Newspaper's editorial office, facing Hoan Kiem Lake, the exhibition is not only a cultural activity, but also a profound political action, contributing to bringing Uncle Ho's thoughts closer to the public.
This is a large-scale and emotional exhibition space, gathering valuable images of President Ho Chi Minh, including both familiar images and works of art that are little known to the public.

The exhibition is divided into three parts.
Part 1 "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man" recreates his life journey and stature as a national liberation hero and world cultural figure.
Part 2 "The people's love and respect for him" records the image of Uncle Ho in the hearts of people across the country, with works of art depicting the image of Uncle Ho.
Part 3 "Uncle Ho with Nhan Dan Newspaper" recalls the special bond between the leader and the Party's mouthpiece, along with articles written by Uncle Ho himself and published in Nhan Dan Newspaper over many periods.

Notably, the exhibition makes the most of modern technology to create a digital experience. Through QR codes, viewers can access the virtual museum "President Ho Chi Minh with the youth," enjoy a music podcast of immortal songs that have stood the test of time, praising Uncle Ho's merits, personality, and sacrifice.
Viewers can “touch” priceless artifacts about Uncle Ho associated with youth work, as a form of traditional fire-breathing for today's young generation to learn and follow his example, building a strong country in the new era as his last wish.
The highlight of this special propaganda campaign is the publication of Nhan Dan Cuoi Tuan No. 1890 - a symbolic number, coinciding with the year of birth of President Ho Chi Minh. This is not only a coincidence, but also a profound gratitude, a vivid expression of the spirit of "reviewing the past to learn the present" of revolutionary journalists.
The special publication offers many in-depth articles by prestigious scholars and researchers, affirming the everlasting value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology. The newspaper also has two special supplement pages, introducing images of Uncle Ho reading Nhan Dan newspaper and quoting his immortal sayings. The supplement page also integrates a QR code connecting to vivid documents about Uncle Ho on the special page "Ho Chi Minh and the ideology of the People are the root", creating a modern and attractive reading experience, aimed at a wide range of readers at home and abroad.

Speaking at the event, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh emphasized that studying and following Uncle Ho is not only a political task, but also a professional way of life for journalists. In the era of information explosion, revolutionary journalism needs to maintain political integrity, innovate and spread humanistic and progressive values.
Nhan Dan Newspaper has been realizing that spirit by constantly innovating, so that each page, each special page, each news line is imbued with the spirit of "close to the people - for the people" that Uncle Ho always emphasized. Nhan Dan Newspaper in particular and the Vietnamese revolutionary press in general are also making comprehensive efforts, so that the press and media become a driving force for innovative thinking, contributing to spreading the spirit of independence and autonomy, arousing the nation's belief and aspirations in the new era.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, said that the exhibition “The Shining Name of the Person” and the special publication commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday are extremely meaningful and practical activities to honor the values that beloved Uncle Ho left behind and affirm the respect, admiration and appreciation of generations of Vietnamese and international friends for him.
“With 3 parts of content, each image in the exhibition is a memory, a vivid story about Him so that each of us in today's modern life can still find great lessons, leaving for future generations the thoughts of a great man who left his mark on the history of the nation and the world in the 20th century,” Ms. Le Thi Phuong expressed.
The photo exhibition “Bright Name of the Person” will run until May 19 at 71 Hang Trong, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi./.
