On September 26th, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), thousands of students had an engaging conversation and exchange session with Shark Louis Nguyen, Chairman and CEO of Saigon Asset Management (SAM), to gain valuable lessons and experiences for their academic and entrepreneurial journeys.

The program, implemented by the Center for Business Cooperation in collaboration with Viet Ky Thuc and HUTECH, is themed "Accepting Challenges to Achieve Success," aiming to provide students with access to real-life stories and valuable lessons from successful entrepreneurs.

At the event, Shark Louis Nguyen shared the difficulties, challenges, and experiences he had accumulated while working at the Group and companies in many countries around the world .

He asserted that facing challenges in work and life is always difficult. This discourages many people, but these difficulties are also "stepping stones" that everyone must overcome to become stronger and better versions of themselves.

Shark Louis Nguyen also emphasized the importance of soft skills alongside foreign language and communication skills, arguing that these are crucial factors leading to future success.

Answering questions from many students about current trends in the finance and technology industries, Louis Nguyen mentioned the explosion of artificial intelligence. He also noted that investing in data center development will play a crucial role in supporting AI, and affirmed that fields such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity will continue to develop sustainably in the future.

Speaking about the issue of starting a business while still in university, which is of great interest to many students, businessman Louis Nguyen believes that it is right for students to want to start their own businesses to take control of their future. He advises young people to gain experience by working at companies after graduation, learning from skilled leaders and understanding the market, which will increase their chances of success.  

Following Louis Nguyen's presentation, Professor and Doctor Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, advised students that each of them would learn valuable lessons about overcoming difficulties, building a career, and achieving success in life.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that success never comes easily. It requires perseverance, effort, and sometimes overcoming failure. He hoped that the insights shared at the event would serve as a source of motivation for students in career guidance and personal development.
