According to initial information, a fire broke out at a furniture store on De La Thanh Street (Ngoc Khanh Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi) on the afternoon of October 29th.

Eyewitnesses said that because the shop contained a lot of wood, glue, and accessories for making furniture, the fire spread quickly and produced a lot of toxic smoke.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police force dispatched 3 fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire. After about 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

The fire caused no casualties, and the extent of property damage is currently being assessed.

Currently, the Ba Dinh District Police are investigating the cause of the fire. Notably, a fire also occurred at the same address in 2017.
