The fire originated from the back door of the factory, adjacent to the cultural center. Due to the presence of many flammable materials, the flames quickly rose and spread. Some residents said that at the time of the fire, the factory had already closed for the day and there were no workers inside. Two members of a family discovered the fire in time to escape and shouted for help, but smoke and flames had already engulfed most of the factory.

The Fire and Rescue Police of Region 28 mobilized 8 specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to approach the scene, deploying firefighting teams from the main gate, the side entrance area, and the neighboring houses to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.

By around 8 PM, the fire was largely under control, but smoke and embers still smoldered inside the factory. Authorities continued to spray water to cool the area and extinguish the remaining flames.

The burned-down factory, spanning thousands of square meters and enclosed by corrugated iron sheets, is located in the Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo weaving village. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being investigated.
