At 8:00 a.m. this morning (September 26), Nha Be District Police (HCMC) is still coordinating with relevant units to block off and investigate the scene of a large fire at a frame workshop and art gallery located in Phuoc Kien commune.
Earlier, at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, a fire broke out in a frame workshop - art gallery (specializing in oil paintings, wall stickers...) with a 2-storey design located on Le Van Luong Street, Phuoc Kien Commune.
At the time of the fire, the frame workshop - gallery was not open for business.
When the fire was discovered, many people ran to shout the fire alarm and used water and mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
The house had a locked main exit. The workshop and gallery contained many flammable materials and chemicals, causing the fire to spread quickly.
In addition, this factory is located next to a residential area, with barbershops and fast food stores on both sides, causing many people to flee in fear of the fire spreading.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Nha Be District Police dispatched vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene. The police had to break the rolling door to approach the fire. By nearly 7:30, the fire was extinguished.
The cause and damage are currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
