A foam factory in Dong Nai caught fire, with thick black smoke billowing high into the air.

According to initial information, at approximately 1 PM on May 22nd, a fire broke out at a factory of about 1,000 m² belonging to B&T Company, which specializes in manufacturing molded EPS foam, styrofoam boxes, PE Foam film, and refrigeration conduit, located in Phuoc Tan ward (formerly Bien Hoa City).

Because the interior contained many flammable materials such as foam and sponge, the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire factory area.

At the scene, the corrugated iron roofs in many areas were deformed by the heat, and smoke and flames continuously billowed high into the air. Residents living near the area said that the fire had spread rapidly in a short time and threatened to engulf neighboring workshops.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Dong Nai province dispatched numerous fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire. Firefighting teams continuously sprayed water from multiple directions to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading.

After many hours of effort, the fire was basically brought under control at around 2:30 PM on the same day. The fire did not cause any casualties, however, much property and raw materials inside the factory were destroyed.

B&T Company, established in 2012, is known to operate in the field of manufacturing foam products for industrial and domestic use.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated by authorities in Dong Nai province.

On May 10th, a major fire also broke out in Dong Nai province at the production area of Uniwin Vietnam Co., Ltd., a textile and garment company located in Nhon Trach 6 Industrial Park, Phuoc An commune.

Specifically, at around 11:30 AM on May 10th, a fierce fire broke out inside the factory. Security guards and workers quickly used the on-site fire extinguishing system to control the blaze, but without success.

Because the building contained many flammable materials such as fabric and textile machinery, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the factory, which spanned thousands of square meters. A column of black smoke rose high into the air, visible from many kilometers away.

Upon receiving the report, the Dong Nai Provincial Police force dispatched numerous specialized fire trucks along with dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

By approximately 2 PM on the same day, the fire was largely brought under control. There were no reported casualties, however, significant property, machinery, and the company's factory and administrative buildings, spanning thousands of square meters, were destroyed by the flames.
