The school year specified in this Joint Circular is calculated from July of the previous year to the end of June of the following year.

Accordingly, the monthly salary used as the basis for calculating overtime pay for teachers includes: The total salary for 12 months in the school year is the total monthly salary according to the school year payroll from July of the previous year to the end of June of the following year, including the salary according to the current salary scale, grade, salary allowances and reserve difference coefficient (if any); in which, the monthly salary is calculated according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 3 of Joint Circular No. 07/2013/TTLT-BGDĐT-BNV-BTC after deducting the contributions of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance of teachers according to regulations.
The total salary for 12 months in a school year is the total salary for each month according to the school year payroll, calculated from July of the previous year to the end of June of the following year.
