ViewSonic Unveils Monitor with 5MP Infrared Camera

ViewSonic launches VG41V monitor series with integrated infrared camera, facial recognition via Windows Hello, targeting security and online meeting needs.

ViewSonic has just introduced the new VG41V monitor series with infrared webcam supporting facial login via Windows Hello.

This product line includes three models: VG2441V (24 inches), VG2741V and VG2741V-2K (both 27 inches), of which only the 2K version has QHD resolution.

5MP webcam with ±5° adjustable angle, integrated physical cover to ensure privacy when not in use.

The display features two microphones and stereo speakers, enhancing the online meeting experience without the need for cumbersome accessories.

ViewSonic features a 120Hz refresh rate and Eye ProTech technology to reduce eye strain during continuous work.

Ergonomic design supports swivel, tilt, height adjustment and vertical axis, optimizing office sitting posture.

The big downside is that the USB-C port only charges at 15W, which is not enough for laptops and does not meet modern “one-plug” needs.

With FSC-certified recycled packaging and ENERGY STAR certification, ViewSonic clearly demonstrates its green orientation in this product.
