Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea stands out with its pure aroma, mild astringency, and deep sweet aftertaste, earning high praise from consumers. Over time, the Son Tra Cooperative has focused on developing the product organically, investing in modern machinery such as Taiwanese-technology tea roasting machines, rolling machines, sieving machines, and vacuum packaging machines. Simultaneously, the cooperative collaborates with local farmers to produce tea according to the "three no's" standard: no pesticides, no artificial flavoring or additives, and no inorganic fertilizers.
Currently, the Son Tra Cooperative's Shan Tuyet tea growing area covers 64 hectares in Hong Thai commune, including 29 hectares of centuries-old tea trees and 35 hectares of tea plants over 20 years old.
To date, Tuyen Quang province has 3 products that have achieved national 5-star OCOP certification, including Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea from Son Tra Cooperative; 100g boxed green tea and 100g boxed black tea from Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative, Thong Nguyen commune.
