In 2024, the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Tax Branch was assigned a budget of over 3,211 billion VND by the Provincial People's Committee. Of which, the tax collection for Cam Pha city is nearly 1,970 billion VND; Van Don district is 1,223 billion VND and Co To district is 19 billion 800 million VND.

At the end of the first 6 months of the year, the entire Regional Tax Department collected nearly 630 billion VND, equal to 20% of the estimate assigned by the ordinance to the Department. Analyzing the average collection progress by area: Cam Pha city had 4/12 revenue items completed and exceeded, 8/12 targets were not met; Van Don district had 3/10 revenue items completed and exceeded, 7/10 revenue items were not met; Co To district had 7/9 revenue items completed and exceeded, 2/9 revenue items did not meet the average collection progress.

Based on the budget collection results in the first 6 months of the year, the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Regional Tax Department has focused on analyzing and evaluating the socio -economic situation in the last 6 months of the year, organizing and synchronously implementing solutions in tax management on land revenue sources, non-agricultural land use and mining vehicle registration; risk management of electronic invoices; tax management for e-commerce activities; tax management for private capital construction activities; electronic tax declaration and payment for households and preventing revenue loss.

Implementing the province's direction in implementing the state budget collection scenario in the area, in addition to the land revenue that will be adjusted and supplemented by localities, the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Regional Tax Department determined to strive to collect at least over 1,587 billion VND from taxes and fees by the end of 2024. Of which, Cam Pha city collected over 1,194 billion VND; Van Don district collected over 373 billion VND and Co To district collected over 20 billion VND from taxes and fees.
