Smartphone brand realme has just created a big buzz when it announced a concept smartphone called Realme 15,000mAh.

The highlight of this device is the unprecedented "huge" battery capacity, up to 15,000mAh, integrated into a body that still maintains an impressive thinness.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, this battery allows the device to operate on average for up to 5 consecutive days on a single charge. In actual tests, the device can record video continuously for 18 hours or play video non-stop for 50 hours, numbers that far exceed current smartphone standards.

To realize a large-capacity battery in a slim design, Realme said it has adopted three breakthrough technical solutions. The first is the use of a new battery material with the world's first 100% silicon anode.

Next, the company switched from liquid electrolyte to solid electrolyte, giving the battery a record energy density of 1,200 Wh/L – the highest ever in a smartphone. This combination allows Realme to squeeze a huge capacity into a compact space.

In addition to the battery technology, some specifications of the Realme 15,000mAh have also been leaked. The device, codenamed “Realme 15000mAh”, is equipped with a 6.7-inch screen, uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, along with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options.

This is not the first time Realme has introduced “huge” battery concepts. Previously, the company displayed the “GT 10000mAh” model with a 10,000mAh battery but still maintained an impressive thinness of only 8.5 mm and weighed 215 grams. This experience shows Realme’s ability to optimize the design for devices with large battery capacity.

In recent years, Chinese smartphone manufacturers have been pushing the limits of battery capacity, from 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh and even 8,000mAh. Realme's introduction of 15,000mAh battery technology is considered a breakthrough, promising to reshape the battery life race in the mobile market in the future.
