Identifying propaganda work as a top priority in concretizing and implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023, of the Provincial Party Committee "On building and promoting the cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development" (referred to as Resolution 17-NQ/TU) In recent times, the Youth Union at all levels has been put into practice. from From the provincial level down to the grassroots, people have proactively, flexibly, creatively, and diversely used effective forms of propaganda and communication, creating a widespread impact among young people and the general public.
On November 23rd, the Ha Long City Youth Union organized the art program "Flying Flowers - Ha Long: City of Flower Seasons," attracting a large number of young people and citizens. Through unique artistic performances, the program demonstrated innovation and creativity in the methods of disseminating information and mobilizing youth union members and people from all walks of life to participate in the implementation of the projects "Ha Long - City of Flowers" and "Ha Long - City of Festivals." This contributes to promoting the image of Ha Long, a city of heritage, culture, and people, creating attractive tourism products for the end of 2024, and meeting the needs of locals and tourists for enjoyment, interaction, and entertainment.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thang, Secretary of the Ha Long City Youth Union, said: "The art program is also a practical activity in response to the communication campaign 'Youth actively and creatively participate in developing the culture and people with rich identity of Quang Ninh'." This initiative was launched by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Ninh province. At the program, the City Youth Union presented the decision to establish the "Quang Ninh Music - Culture - Art Community Development Club," aiming to promote and spread a love of art within the community. This club will serve as a bridge for individuals, especially young people, to discover their passions and talents , providing opportunities for interaction, learning, and building a rich and healthy cultural environment.
The communication campaign "Youth actively and creatively participate in developing the culture and people of Quang Ninh with a rich identity" The aim is to disseminate, thoroughly understand, implement, and seriously and effectively carry out the viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU through the development of a cultural communication movement in Quang Ninh province, mobilizing the active participation of youth and the people of Quang Ninh in general in the production and preservation of the province's cultural communication products. Through this, the role and responsibility of the Youth Union organization and its members will be maximized in building and developing a rich and distinctive culture, while rapidly narrowing the gap between rich and poor and regional disparities, contributing to building Quang Ninh province with the characteristics of: "Beautiful nature - Unique culture - Civilized society - Transparent administration - Developed economy - Happy people".
The media content will focus on promoting and introducing: the culture and people of Quang Ninh; Quang Ninh's tourism potential, efforts to attract investment for tourism development, management of tourism service activities, efforts to build a safe and friendly tourism environment for visitors; attractive tourist destinations; communication about cuisine and culinary culture; the system of scenic spots, historical relics, cultural and traditional art... of Quang Ninh. At the same time, media coverage of revolutionary action movements and youth projects contributes to promoting the pioneering role of young people throughout the province in building and developing the culture and people of Quang Ninh.
Accordingly, the campaign comprises two major activities: Building a cultural communication movement and trend "Quang Ninh in my eyes is..." to encourage the participation of young people and the public in innovative and creative cultural communication activities of Quang Ninh province on social media; and creating a digital map "Quang Ninh: Colors of Culture" made up of 140,000 Images, videos, and clips about the culture and people of Quang Ninh aim to spread and highlight the culture, people, and qualities of the new generation of young people in Quang Ninh province.
Along with the special communication campaign, propaganda work through branch meetings, thematic activities, extracurricular activities, theatrical programs, cultural exchanges, etc., has been creatively implemented by all levels of the Youth Union throughout the province, such as: the "Journey to Connect and Spread the Cultural Values and People of Quang Ninh" competition; the "Student Youth Station - Exchange between student clubs, teams, and groups" journey; the forum "Aspiration for Contribution - The Meaning of Youth Life"...
In addition, propaganda work through mass media, websites, and social networks continues to be promoted by all levels of the Youth Union, especially through sections such as "Following in Uncle Ho's Footsteps," "One Good News Story Every Day, One Beautiful Story Every Week," and "Youth Electronic Diary Following Uncle Ho's Teachings"... These have promptly commended exemplary young people in the fields of study, scientific research, and production... Through this, it contributes to spreading the image and building the model values of Quang Ninh youth in the new era with aspirations for advancement, unwavering character; continuous creativity and pioneering action.
